As we begin, we need to....

Assess our current status in relation to the current plan:

  • Have all the prior goals been met?
  • If not, what goals were not? Why? Are the remaining goals appropriate to continue?
  • Did we exceed our plan? Are we 'ahead of the game'?


What are the core competencies at each grade level students should enter with?

ICOT Tool and questioning:
How will you define technology as "in use?"
How will you decide if a technology use is "Essential?"
What will it take to determine if a particular standard has been addressed?

As we think about how professional development needs to change to address the needs of a diverse group of learners, one thing that comes to mind a few questions..."Instructional Coaches"

How are we helping new teachers to our district in their understanding and use of all programs?
How are we supporting what is essential/critical?
For instance, Everyday Math? MTSS? new textbook series?
What other curriculum/programs do we need to address?
